Our friendly and caring staff is available to assist you with your mental health care needs, from making an appointment and gaining authorization from your insurance company to answering your questions. CCNC will provide you with up-to-date, evidence-based psychiatric services, from psychiatric assessments to psychotherapeutic treatment options. Our focus is to provide our patients with the best tools to help them return to and maintain the life they enjoy.

We want to help you learn to overcome or live with your mental health issues, such as stress, marital problems, depression, anxiety, ADHD, developmental disability, learning disorders, autism, post-traumatic stress disorder, separation, OCD, and schizophrenia.

We can do this through our services, which include:

-supportive therapy -individual psychotherapy

-couples/marital therapy -family therapy

-parenting skills education -diagnosis of mental disorders (autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression)

-medication assessment and management -treatment and support

Psychiatric assessments within 2-3 weeks by a board certified psychiatrist.

Physician-referred emergency evaluations accomodated within 24 hours.

Ongoing communications and follow-ups with patient's primary care physician.

Because the clinical staff at CCNC brings together mental health providers of such a diverse range of educational backgrounds, experience, and interests, we are very well equipped to provide each individual patient with a team that is well matched to that individual's needs.

One of the toughest issues in providing mental health services is the frequent battles against the stigma of mental illness. After all, many of these illnesses are problems with the workings of the brain. Most people do not hesitate to go to their physician and get (sometimes lifelong) treatment when they are sick. Receiving treatment for depression, autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and so many other illnesses should be no different than going to a physician and being treated for heart disease, diabetes, flu or even an infection.

Just as you look for someone with extensive training and experience to diagnose, educate you about and treat your illness, so should you seek a psychiatrist or other mental health clinician to treat your mental health.
